Hidden talent

April 15, 2009

You might remember Paul Potts, a contestant for Britain’s Got Talent, who stunned the judges awhile back by singing Nessun Dorma. A few days ago, Susan Boyle auditioned and unexpectedly blew everyone away with her performance, singing I dreamed a dream from Les Miserables. I can’t decide who wowed me more.

Frankly, I’ve been getting tired of shows that simply entertain and are overly dramatic. But every now and then, you get something like this, discovering hidden talent without the frills, which is so refreshing to me. So sit back, watch the video and get ready to be inspired~

Pay special attention to Simon’s very rare facial expression almost halfway into the video.

i like susan boyle. her voice is really good, not very showy, but i think the wow factor definitely contributes to the awesomeness of her voice. i think it's really interesting how much clearer her singing voice is than her speaking voice. she's really quirky, but she's definitely very likeable. haha, her eyebrows and her hair trip me out
