It's truely it is.When early 20centuries,Manchuria belongs to The Qing dynasty, and korea just a vassal country of China.AND The japanese invaded Korea and foced China ceded Korea to Japan, and on the same time they ocuppied Manchuria .So Manchuria had never be part of Korea, on the contrary,Korea belonged to China .

Ummmm. Korea was under China and Japan made China recognize its independance. Manchuria is (or was) Manchurian people's land. It's like saying that Korea belongs to United States. Very very twisted nationalism dear. Don't make Koreans look bad.

I read that Goguryeo and Balhae used to occupy much of Manchuria and eastern Russia. These northern parts seem to be much more of a brother country after all those years. I don't recall any of the maps of Joseon occupying what we call Manchuria today. And I am referring to official maps made in Korea by official cartographers during the Joseon dynasty, not maps made by foreigners who would not necessarily know the area, much less the actual geo-political concepts of the region. The subject is interesting, so if there is more information on the subject (particularly if you can dig up some of those primary sources) it would be greatly appreciated!
